The Government Teacher

A government teacher's views on current events, public policy, education and all things government related.

My U.S. Constitution

Years ago I took the 1787 U.S. Constitution and its amendments and started to adapt and alter according to how I believe it might be rearranged to make more sense structurally. This included altering some of the language to make it clearer what the powers and limits of government should be in my mind.  What proceed on the following pages are brief explanation of the different articles and sections and the written language I created for this constitution. The document these pages are created from are a living document changing on my own computer, so this might not be up to date on what I have currently written.  If you have any questions, comments or concerns feel free to comment below that appropriate section. Enjoy!
